The hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, although a bit dated in appearance, were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The service, while the staff seemed overwhelmed at times, was overall friendly but had some lapses. The location is beautiful, great for hiking, yet the dining experience was below par. The facilities were decent, but improvements in dining are needed.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were a bit outdated and only equipped for two guests despite our booking for three. However, the location was convenient for exploring the western fells and the staff provided exceptional service throughout our stay.
